PROJECT 1.4
2024
In a world consumed by an insatiable drive for progress, humanity often blurs into the background.
This project is a collaboration with photographer Martina Brisky, where I took on the roles of fashion stylist and producer. Together, we crafted a series that moves with the rhythms and contrasts of Buenos Aires—a city where tradition and modernity collide, where chaos and beauty coexist on every street.
Through clothing, gesture, and atmosphere, we sought to capture fleeting, overlooked moments: the quiet poetry of movement, the textures of light and shadow, the pulse of a city alive yet rushing forward. Each image becomes a fragment of memory, a pause that asks the viewer to feel what might otherwise go unnoticed.
In this work, fashion is more than style; it is language. It speaks of what is fleeting, fragile, and human. It restores presence, grounding the ephemeral in form, color, and sensation, inviting us to reclaim what progress so often leaves behind.
This was a project I truly loved, created alongside my friend Ernestina in front of the lens and my cousin Martina behind it.
Grateful to everyone who opened the doors of their restaurants to us, letting our cameras wander and discover. Grateful to those who shared their stories, whose voices and experiences became threads woven into the project—adding depth, sensitivity, and humanity to every image.
Together, we didn’t just take photographs; we captured fleeting moments, gestures, and emotions that might otherwise have gone unnoticed, letting the city and its people speak through our work.
